Q: When I open an image in TIFF format the image appears dark (like a negative), how to fix it?
A: Just open your image, and Go to Tools -> Negative images.
Q: How to transfer my license from the old PC to a new PC?
A: You can deactivate license from an old computer, and then re-install it to your new PC. Go to Start > All Programs > 321Soft TIFF Studio > Activation (Deactivation), Follow the steps to deactivate your software license. After that, you can use your license key to reactivate the program on a new computer.
Q: How do I make all the pages the same size?
A: Just use "Tools->Resize" or "Tools->Canvas size". "Resize" option allows you to resize the entire image. and "Canvas Size" option allows you to resize the canvas only (background), without resizing the image.
Q: If I open a multipage tiff files, how to extract a single page from it to make a separate image of it?
A: Select required pages or use <Ctrl+A> to select all pages,
File -> Save Pages as

Q: How to add text?
A: Mode -> Text, or Mode -> Annotation -> Text (or Memo).
Q: Are there drawing tools? If so, where are they?
A: Mode -> Draw
Q: How to perform a word search on a TIFF document?
A: Tools -> Text search (OCR)
Q: Is there any way to auto detect and delete blank pages?
A: Yes. Go to Pages -> Delete All Blank pages....
Q: If I have two computers do I have to purchase 2 Licenses?
A: Yes, you have to purchase 2 Licenses. the license key is locked to a single computer so it cannot be reactivated on a new computer.
Q: What are the limitations of the free trial version ?
A: The free trial version can only be used for 30 days. and all functions to save and export are deactivated in the trial version.
Q: What kind of file formats are supported?
A: All common file formats are supported (TIFF, PDF, FAX, DCX, EPS, PS, AI, DICOM, JBIG, GIF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, PCX, WBMP, DIB, RLE, TGA, Portable Bitmap PBM, PGM and PPM and so on).
